When we first moved in we thought it looked nice and would be a great fit. Little did we know that we would have the LOUDEST, RUDEST, TRASHIEST neightbors in the world! The office staff act like they are sympathetic when in reality they just want to keep getting your rent and could really care less about any issues. The walls/floors are incredibly thin and you can hear everything. The apartment is poorly insulated, whereas it is freezing cold in the winter and stifling hot in the summer. The apartment is too tight- whereas mold grows in places, condensation accumulates in and around the windows and when a complaint is made, you are told to clean it and deal with it yourself. They are way overpriced and the hot tub is always out of order. Save yourself a serious headache and stress and move somewhere other than Somerset! | | Respond to this review » | |

The Millington appears nice on the exterior with even some plush ammenities, however the flimsy interior construction makes living very difficult in first and second floor units. Everyday walking from upstairs neighbors rattles the dishes in our cupboards and vibrates all throughout the room. Management is not very friendly in helping out with this issue. New Ownership!!!(same as the old).
They are now charging for water
sewer, gas, and trash as a utility bill. Not so in the past.IT'S OVER PRICED. Blue pill watch that you are not sleepwalking into this complex. Red pill, my opinion is look elsewhere. You want get what you pay for in the valley. | | Respond to this review » | |

I really liked staying at the Breakers. The office staff is really great, the security is really good (gates and guards at night), and they have lots of ammenities (pool, spa, putting green, saunas, and other things). | | Respond to this review » | |

This apartment complex is totally not worth the money as many of other reviewers have said.
Reasons:
1. Unfriendly, Arrogant , rude office and maintaince staff. - They don't care.. don't know how to talk politely. When you are talking with them, they have this expression on their face as if they are doing you a favour talking with you. And that too when you are paying top of the line rent for this so called "remodelled" community.
2. Faulty appliances, poor drainage system, incompetant maintaince staff. - This is a remodelled community. But I guess they have cut a lot of corners and used cheap material/ labour. Almost all the buildings have had water problem at some point or other. Few of the building have had hot water problems. My building had a problem in November... for almost 2 days we went without hot water and I have a 2 year old child. When complained about this to the staff, they didn't actually say we don't care.. but their actions (or lack of it) actually did convey the message. In october, I had to call their emergency number 3-4 times before I could get the plumber at my place. My kitchen sink was overflowing with our neighbour's drainage water.. it was so disgusting. Lights in the building (common area) work monday to friday.. but saturday / sunday they take off... the entire building is in dark on weekends.. have told this many times to the staff.. no actions yet.. This is a gated community.. great for the security right ' No wrong.. because gates don't work.. they are wide open most of the times because of some problem or other..I can go on and on.. but what I am trying to say is, don't even keep this community as your last option. Look somewhere else.. if you find these same problems somewhere else too, atleast you will pay less. | | Respond to this review » | |
