These apartments look really nice on the outside, and are really convenient to the Village at Sandhills shopping center.
My apartment was really nice, but small, and I was considering getting a large one until my building started to fill up. After that, you wouldn't know that you had walls because if you closed your eyes, because you can hear everything your neighbor does, and I mean EVERYTHING. This, of course, they can hear EVERYTHING I do. There are a lot of other little things, like the plumbing and the gym not being open 24 hours like they said it would be, little things that all add up to me not wanting to live here. It's nice, and I would say it felt safe%2 | | Respond to this review »

Be weary of this place. yes, it's cheap, but that's about the only good thing. There is a horriable problem with gang and drug activity. The owner does not want anything done about it, his only concern is money, it does not matter that the place is falling apart or that his office staff is theives and druggies, yes they have their drus delivered to the office. There is constant slab leaks and your belongings will be ruined. Oh! yes, lets not forget about the sex offenders that live on property( You can go online and see for yourself. People deal drugs out of vacant apartments, just call Richland County Sheriffs Dept. Your electric bill will be as much as your rent, drunks run their cars through buildings and bathrooms fom upstairs fall into apartments below. MOLD!! beware, if yo complain about mold, nothing will be done. Two sparkling POOLS, yeah right, one that was open when the incompentant staff wanted to open it. Use to be FREE washer/Dryers in apartments with hookups, but in reality you were actually paying for them, now they are charged back on top of the inflated rent. RUN!!! don't look back. THE STREETS are a better place to live. | | Respond to this review »

I rented a 3br unit and both toliets were not even attatched to the floor. The dishwasher wasnt installed right. Very noisy and unclean hallway. Worst yet, my car was stolen out of the parking lot. There have been two shootings and countless drug deals in the parking lot. Not safe, filthy, and poor managment. | | Respond to this review »

The apartments themselves aren't bad. They're located in a beatiful area with lots of walking trails and a lake nearby. The construction is old (at least 20 years), so it has the problems what come with that, yet it isn't falling apart around you.
However, the quality of the complex changed dramatically from the time I moved in to the time I moved out. When I moved in it wasmostly a family complex, quiet, not known for break-ins. By the time I left there were people having domestic disputes in the parking lot for hours upon hours and people playing their loud music in the parking lot out of their cars, at 3 am. While I hadn't heard of any robberies or vandalism, I was convinced it wasn't far behind, maubly because of the couples arguements that continued throughout the night. If getting the cops called on you multiple times doesn't stop you from screaming at each other and hitting each other, I can't imagine petty crimes being far behind.
Pretty much, the place went ghetto. I'd definitely drive by and sit in the parking lot on a friday night before I decided to rent there. Maybe they've cleaned it up a bit, but I would double check. | | Respond to this review » | + View Responses (1) | - evancole75@yahoo.com Hello Dear,
I saw you Ad online and got intrested in renting your place.my name is Evan and i am 23yrs of age coming over Columbia to apply for a college. I presently stay in London, I quiet, fun to be with and easy to get along. I do not drink Niether do I smoke but would be fine and okay and can adapt to any kind of life style.
Please do get back to me with details bout the room and pictures if available including the bills per month and how you wish to recieve payment cos the rent would be paid on a monthly basis and the first month rent would be paid prior to my arrival by my boss. for me a check or a Wire transfer into a Wells Fargo bank account or Union bank of california account would be okay for payment cause my boss holds an account with them and would be easier and safer to make payments . Hope to Hear from you soon.
Evan cole
